Having a decoy safe can help avert would be burglars from finding your true valuables. Also, wall safes are great, but check out in floor safes that can be installed into concrete and discreetly located. They work just as well. I agree with Ryan. Put a little bit of cash into it and some other trinkets and keep it somewhere obvious like the master bedroom closet.
