Is it legal in Oregon for a private company to use security cameras to look down women's dresses or focus on people's butts and/or then to invite other employees including other security employees to view them.
we have a real problem at a local store and i am wondering what i can do about it-the employees who know have been either fired or are being harrassed.

Hey Chuck, I hate to keep deferring to lawyers...but I would recommend that you speak with an attorney that is familiar with laws in Florida. Also, the link you provided was broken so I removed it...thanks for stopping by and for your questions! Good luck! -james

Hello,
I would like to know if I should submit video and audio footage caught on my computer cam just before a domestic violence happened.
We recently had a family issue and a relative was verbally abusing another relative. I then decided to put my computer on record mode to capture proof of the aggression that I assumed would escalate, and indeed it did about an hour after the recording took place...
I want to know If it would be a good idea to submit the filming with audio to the courts to help strengthen our protection granted... or should i re-record without audio and submit just the video... I rather submit all included but do not want to violate florida law... one in mind is

Florida Statutes 934.03 - Interception and disclosure of wire ...
934.03 Interception and disclosure of wire, oral, or electronic communications prohibited. (1) Except as otherwise specifically provided in this chapter, ...

LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS OR FACTS...
THANKS

Hi Rhe and Bill, I would talk with an attorney in your area to find out what's legal in your situation and what's not legal. -James

I live in a rental community and just found out that there are video cameras (that look just like the street lights in the area) placed around the community. I had no knowledge of these cameras (they were not in my signed lease and no signs are posted anywhere in the community). It freaks me out a bit now, because what if they can see in my windows and I never knew? Is this illegal in anyway that I was not notified of the cameras? Also when I asked the onsite manager she said that she knew nothing about any cameras....

Hi Leamon,

Those are great questions.

I am sure there are certain legal issues to sort through in a situation like you have described...and if it is taken to court, perhaps the attorneys or the judge might require the footage on those security videos.

That being said, in my mind there are just a few options - let the court decide, get one's attorney to ask for the video or ask for the security footage oneself.

Thanks for your comment! I hope my answer helps a little bit...

Can an employee of a buisness obtain access of secuirty video, and how? This would be for the purposes of a Civil Matter, whereas the employers are using very harsh jesters towards another and for period of time. To prove one has given a false statement reflecting themselves being at a location when they were not.
